Our company, Long Point Family Chiropractic, retained Will Phillips to negotiate a lease agreement for our office at 498 Wando Park Blvd in Mount Pleasant, Sc. We had been leasing the space since March of 2007 and our lease was up for renewal in March of 2012. Will was able to show us a wide variety of office spaces that were available in the area to show us comparable rates and spaces in Mount Pleasant. After looking at the available spaces, we determined our best option was to renew our existing lease with our current landlord. Will was able to negotiate a decrease of approximately $400 per month compared to our previous rate. He was also able to add an additional clause in our contract to cover us in case of any repair expense associated with our heating and air conditioning unit. It just happened to break down about 2 months after our renewal and because of the addendum added, our landlord paid for the cost of the repairs. Will provided a thorough, tress-free, and professional experience to our negotiations and we would highly recommend him for any initial or renegotiation of a commercial lease agreement.
